I finally did it. I recorded my first podcast, it was short but that was the point. I just wanted to put something out there to let people know what I am doing and why. I also found out you have to have something recorded in order to get on all the directories (like Apple Podcast) and that once you submit it could take up to a week for your show to appear. I didn't want my first interview to be part of that set up time, so it seemed prudent to make an introduction podcast, so that's my first pro tip to those of you considering doing a podcast.
What did I talk about on this first episode. Why record a podcast? It comes down to the fact that our industry has changed so much in the last five years that I need a platform to let people understand how it can help their business. The cloud can truly compliment a business, make it more productive, nimble, and cost effective. But, the right solutions need to be implemented. My podcast is an opportunity for my partners to talk you with out the pressure of trying to sell you something and explain what it is they offer and why they offer it.
This has always been truly interesting stuff to me and I am hoping that I can deliver an engaging, entertaining podcast that makes this stuff interesting you to. So that's it, sweet and short like my first episode.

Hello everybody and welcome to the introductory episode of TPC presents a my new podcast coming in September. I, uh, I wanted to take a few minutes to, uh, explain to everybody or just kind of let you know what this podcast is about, what my intention is, why am I doing this? Um, it's uh, you know, it's a new venture for me and, uh, I'm excited about it and I hope that it's worthwhile and I hope that I can bring information to people in the business world that they don't necessarily have right now that it's useful to their company. Um, what we're trying to do is, well, in the last five years I've watched my industry change dramatically. And, um, what I mean by that is, you know, for the most part, you know, five plus years ago you would find like for like services and simply try to get the lowest price for our customer, that's no longer the case.
I'm sure there is, you know, low price shopping that you can do. But what we're offering nowadays, what is out there nowadays is more complex. You know, we have cloud solutions. We have SD wan Solutions, we have multiple Internet solutions that you could put into your office. Five g is coming that's going to have some effect on things. Um, and, and these things, you know, are, are more complex, but they're also better for businesses. They can give you advantages, they can decrease liabilities. Um, and uh, they can make it possible for you to stay ahead of the curve. Uh, and that's why I want to do this podcast cause I want my partners, people who I work with, who I bring to my customers. I want to give them an opportunity to talk to you and say, Hey, this is, this is what we're doing and this is how it can help your company.
And, um, and then, and then, and then actually, you know, let, you know, is it a real solution to a real problem or is it, you know, a made up solution to a made up problem. Cause, you know, we've seen that out there with technology, haven't we? So, you know, that's really the effort here. I don't, you know, I've never done anything like this before. I've never kind of created media before. So I'm, I'm learning as I go. And, uh, you know, I hope you guys can, uh, stick around with me and, and listen, I hope that I can bring you something interesting and um, and I hope it finds some legs and we find uh, an opportunity for you to, to learn, as I said, to learn a little something about, about my industry and to learn a little something about how, what, what I do can help your business.
